Very lovely park in Old San Juan that's extremely child friendly and actually provides shade. They have some fresh juices and decent coffee. Highly recommended for families and people with children. The only thing that really brings the experience down is the music. I understand it's a children's park, but the music actually doesn't add anything and detracts your attention away from being in a 500 year old city. The experience would be much nicer and classier for everyone if they simply turned it off. I've heard from multiple locals they actually avoid the park solely for this reason. If they turn off the music easily give this spot a 5/5. Ultimately it's a fantastic project that has improved the park tremendously.
SUCH a cute spot!!! My 7 year old didn't want to leave! They have smoothies, tea (only caffeinated tea unfortunately), and snacks. The tamarind ice drink was great and had no added sugar!!
Was talking to the owner, Rainer and then ended up trying what he offered. Amazing, I cant recommend this spot enough. It was so good we went twice in one day. Rainer is very kind and knowledgeable. He really tries to get to know his customers while preparing your items. It was very clean and a great experience
Beautiful views, fun little playground for kids, plenty of pigeons to feed or play with, Art along the walled garden and walkway, historic information, great coffee, frozen or hot, fruit popsicles or juices and bottled water. A perfect and almost hidden stop away from the crowds!! Definitely make your way behind the pigeons to find this gem!!
Very cute coffee shop at the tip of Pigeon Park in Old San Juan. The scenery is beautiful overlooking the water. As you walk through Parque de las Palomas...you will see a cute area towards the back. This is a small coffee shop offering unique coffee blends and refreshing ices. I bought a watermelon icy and it hit the spot on a hot day. They are pet & kid friendly offering a colorful playground for the little ones. The women helping us was very friendly even explaining how this shop came to be. Interesting story.
